Flight Dispatcher Training
As per civil Aviation Requirements Section -7,Series M, Part-VII a person has to undergo Flight dispatcher Induction Training in which following Navigation & Technical subject will be covered:
  1. General Navigation
  2. Meterology
  3. Radio Aids
  4. Instruments
  5. Flight Planning
  6. Aeronautical Chart/Route Planning
  7. Air Regulations
  8. General Technical
  9. Air Crash Specific-Performance and Technique
Duration of Course: 12 weeks
Eligibility for Admission: CPL, 10+2 or Equivalent with Physics and Maths
Eligibility: Approved Flight Despatcher
Duration of Course: 1 week
Syllabus:Aircraft Performance and Technical, Aviation Meteorology, Operations Procedures, DGCA Circulars, Emergency Procedures, Review of Incident and Accident Reports in last 3 years. Latest development in Navigation and ATC Instrument and procedures.
Despatcher Resource Management (DRM Course to work in the Flight Despatch offices of the Airlines/Operator.
Induciion Training - 02 Days
Recurrent Training -01 Day
Syllabus: Concept of DRM, Communication Skill, Liaisoning Skills, Work priority, Operational Procedures, Review of Accident and Incident in Aviation.
Flight Dispatcher has to undergo CAT II/III A/III B training as per DGCA CAR Section 8 –Aircraft Operation , Series ‘B’ Part I, REV 2 , Dated O1st Dec. 2009.
Syllabus:Introduction to CAT II / III A & B , Glossary of Terms, CAT II / III A & B Minima , Aircraft system and MEL, Airport and ATC requirement . Low Visibility Procedures , Weather conditions and practice approaches.
Duration of Course: 4 hours
Eligibility for Admission: Approved Flight Dispatcher
Flight Dispatcher has to undergo ETOPS training as per DGCA CAR Section 7 – Flight Crew Standards, Series ‘X’ Part I Dt. 30th March, 2001 (Rev 2 dated. 11th Nov. 2008 & Rev. 3 dated. O1st Dec. 2009).
Syllabus:Introduction to ETOPS, Aircraft system, Route Planning, ETOPS Alternates, dispatch Met Minima, calculation of Entry/ETP/ Exit points, Diversion Strategy, Non-ETOPS, route construction, Handling Techniques of various emergencies in ETOPS flight, MEL.
Duration of Course: 4 hours
Eligibility for Admission: Approved Flight Dispatcher
Flight Dispatcher has to undergo PBN/RNAV/RNP Training. as per DGCA CAR Section 8 –Aircraft Operation , Series ‘O’ Part VI, ISSUE 1 , Dated. O1st Feb. 2012.
Syllabus: Concept of PBN/RNAV/RNP, Glossary of Terms Aircraft System requirements, Operational Procedures, ATS Procedures. ICAO Flight Plan requirement..
Duration of Course: 4 hours
Eligibility for Admission: Approved Flight Dispatcher.
Flight Dispatcher has to undergo RVSM Training. as per DGCA CAR Section 2 –AirWorthiness , Series ‘O’ Part XI, Dated. 29 Oct. 1999.
Syllabus: Concept of RVSM, Glossary of Terms , RVSM level Aircraft System requirements, MEL, Operational Procedures, Emergency Procedures, Contingency Procedures, RT Phraseology.
Duration of Course: 4 hours
Eligibility for Admission: Approved Flight Dispatcher.
Flight Dispatcher has to undergo Aerodrome Operating Minima Training. as per DGCA CAR Section 8 –Aircraft Operation , Series ‘C’ Part I, All Weather Operations Dated. 17th AUG. 2011.
Syllabus: Concept of AOM, definitions of terms associated with AOM, calculation of AOM as per CAR Section 8 – Aircraft Operations, Series ‘C’ Part I dated 13th June 2011/Rev 1 dated 17th August 2011, All Weather Operations, ICAO Doc 9365 - Manual of All Weather Operations. Low Visibility Take off Minima, Restricted Minima
Duration of Course: 4 hours
Eligibility for Admission: Approved Flight Dispatcher.
Flight Dispatchers as to undergo Cold Weather Operation Training before commencing the Flight to Cold Weather areas viz., Europe, Russia, Canada, North Americas etc.
Syllabus:Concept of Cold Weather Operation, Aircraft System requirement, MEL, Operational procedures, Emergency Procedures, Impact of icing on take off weight / takeoff speed / landing weight / landing speed etc., Deicing / Anti-icing & Deicing agents.
Duration of Course: 4 hours
